Kali ini hari jadi dihabiskan dengan seharian mojok di kamar akibat serangan virus influenza. Satu-satunya penghibur hanya virtual birthday greetings dari teman-teman, dan dia yang setelah dengan sedikit dipaksa menyempatkan datang menjenguk, hehe. Berhubung umur yang sekarang cukup pantas dijadikan milestone kehidupan, pelajaran berharga untuk terus diingat: kesehatan itu memang senikmat-nikmatnya nikmat. Mulai saat ini, sepertinya mau tidak mau saya harus terjun lebih dalam lagi untuk memahami konsep dewasa, salah satunya dewasa dalam menjaga stamina tubuh, membagi waktu, dan menghargai diri sendiri, karena tubuh bukan mesin.

makasih udah nemenin terus seharian, mas.

End of The Battle

It was never easy to lead. Problems which I recently had grappled when I was organizing an event for my college major’s anniversary. I’m not good enough to lead, yet I’m willing to learn to be better. And I believe my friends as well. Some of them put a huge disappointment. But I found them being better as the event goes. Mostly I’m impressed by some of my friends that have been working hard from the start, and still there in the last minutes of closing-day, working and helping the decoration process instead of being prepared grooming all day long. I don’t know whether they get an award that night, but I know some who went through blood and tears all the way, and that some people deserve more than just an award which chosen by human. The Almighty sees and may He granted your hard work with His favor.

I feel grateful to be placed in such a great team, the creative team. A team which I feel the most sync to work with. We’ve worked so much, mentally and physically. Thanks for being so much cooperative since the beginning.

Last, I personally impressed to some of people who put aside his/her own interest or his/her own event concerns to help another team, put a faith that this event is ours, and considerately choose to struggle together in every condition that emerges.

We don’t know who works the hardest thus it would be too improper to be proud of one selves and blaming for other’s lack of contribution. And to those who’ve done their duty, congratulations, we did it well. :)

All those negative feelings finally disappear. Larut bersama secangkir teh ocha dan sepiring raw salmon berbalut nasi, plus obrolan dengan topik lompat-lompat. Laut itu ternyata masih dalam, tidak dapat dicapai dasarnya. Jiwa-jiwa lain hanya bisa snorkeling di permukaan, menikmati yang tampak, menebak. Kecuali mereka yang singgah bersama submarinenya, yang namanya dirahasiakan. Untuk mereka itu, terima kasih.
